Greeting fellow deviants.

I am not dead. I promise. My work updates have obviously been sporadic and have all but stopped recently. The delay in work posted for a while has been my transition into the graphic design discipline so I can pay my bills.

The total lack of illustrative work is because I have been in the process of getting my primary computer back into working conditions. I lost my hard drive on it and am currently trying to get my files back. I am also in the process of trying to learn GIMP ([link]) a freeware tool that handily replaces photoshop. I would recommend using them to support them and also spare yourself potential litigation if your copy of photoshop is pirated.

That all said.

My current goal creatively is to brand myself for local freelance work on the side of my day job. This is probably evident with some of the work I have posted in the past months. Website designs, logo ideas, etc.

Once that is accomplished though I think I want to try and start a webcomic. The cast of characters I posted recently ([link]) is a group that is part of a world I have been working on for some time now. I know if I don't kick myself in the ass soon and make it happen it never will. If any of you have any tips to share for starting such an endeavor please send em my way. I'd be very appreciative.
